Why am I Running?
Ramsey Today
Ramsey is growing - new neighborhoods, more local businesses, and a community that’s becoming more active and connected.
Public safety remains a priority - continued support for police, fire, and first responders keeps families feeling secure.
Parks and trails are improving - recent investments are giving residents more places to gather, play, and enjoy the outdoors.
More families are choosing Ramsey - growth is steady, and new opportunities are emerging across the city.
What Growth Means for the Future
Growth comes with responsibility - development should fit our values and strengthen our community, not change it for the sake of change.
Infrastructure needs to keep up - roads, utilities, and public services must support the pace of new development.
Financial discipline matters - we need to invest wisely and protect long‑term stability.
Ramsey’s character is worth protecting - honoring what long‑time residents built while welcoming the families who are joining us.
Why This Moment Matters
Ramsey is entering a new chapter - shaped by both our history and the growth happening around us.
Long‑time residents built our foundation - their service, traditions, and commitment define who we are.
New families bring fresh energy - strengthening our schools, neighborhoods, and community life.
Every generation matters - Ramsey thrives when everyone has a voice and a place at the table.
My Vision Going Forward
Keep public safety strong - families should always feel safe and supported.
Guide responsible development - growth should enhance our community, not overwhelm it.
Lead with transparency - decisions made openly, with clear communication and real community input.
Make sure every resident feels heard - listening first, acting with intention.
Keep Ramsey community‑centered - safe, welcoming, financially responsible, and connected.

PUBLIC services
Charter Commissioner - Transparent, Responsible Growth
Ramsey is growing, and our community deserves leadership rooted in transparency, public safety, and real connection with the people who live here. Serving as a Charter Commissioner has given me a deep understanding of how accountable, responsible government works. I’ve helped review and strengthen the city’s governing charter to ensure our local government remains open, effective, and worthy of public trust. As Ramsey continues to develop and diversify, I’m committed to protecting that trust and ensuring our growth is guided by strong, ethical leadership that serves every member of our community.
Police Citizens’ Academy - Community Centered Public Safety
I completed the Ramsey Police Department Citizens’ Academy, an intensive, hands‑on program designed to give residents a deeper understanding of how our police department operates. Over seven weeks, I had the opportunity to learn directly from our officers, observe their daily work, and gain insight into the challenges and responsibilities they face in keeping our community safe.
This experience strengthened my belief that safe neighborhoods depend on trust, communication, and strong relationships between residents and law enforcement. The academy emphasized partnership, encouraging open dialogue, shared problem‑solving, and a better understanding of how we can work together to prevent crime and support public safety. I am committed to fostering these connections and ensuring that every resident feels heard, respected, and protected.
Faith‑Based Service, Mentorship & Community Leadership
My work in the faith‑based community and as a Pathfinder Director reflects my commitment to service, mentorship, and supporting families. In these roles, I’ve helped guide young people in character development, leadership, and responsibility while strengthening connections among families in the community.
Support for Families & Community Stability
Professionally, I bring experience in human services, youth development, and community leadership, with a strong focus on helping families and young people succeed. My work has centered on problem-solving, leadership, and building stronger support systems within the community.
Principles
Principles
WHAT I BELIEVE
community first
Leadership begins with listening to residents and building on the strong foundation that already exists in Ramsey. By ensuring every voice is heard, especially those of new and diverse families, we can create a community where people feel understood, shown grace, connected, and empowered to contribute while continuing to invest in families, youth programs, parks, and opportunities that strengthen Ramsey for generations to come.
Safe & connected neighborhoods
Public safety is one of the most important responsibilities of local government. I support strong partnerships between residents, public safety professionals, schools, and community organizations to help keep Ramsey safe and connected.
Transparency & Accountavility
Residents deserve clear communication and honest leadership. I believe the city government should be accessible, transparent, and proactive in keeping the community informed before important decisions are made.
balanced growth
Growth should be thoughtful, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of our residents. I support development that builds on Ramsey's strengths, strengthens neighborhoods, improves infrastructure, and preserves the quality of life that families value. As our community continues to grow, we must manage taxpayer dollars responsibly, prioritize essential services, and make decisions that support long-term stability for both current and future generations.
PRACTICAL LEADERSHIP
Practical leadership means focusing on solutions, collaboration, and delivering results that benefit the entire community. I am committed to listening first, bringing people together, and building on the strong foundation Ramsey has already established. By working alongside residents, city staff, businesses, and community partners, we can make thoughtful decisions that address today's needs while preparing Ramsey for the future.
